Have you ever wondered how fonts are being created or the process of making and designing them? This course will teach you how to create your font from scratch. This is an intermediate course, but beginners and curious-minded are welcome to challenge their creative selves. All you need is your iPad, apple pencil, procreate app, and this open-source app to transform our handwriting into an official font. This is a fun course for everyone to explore, share, sell and have fun with your handwritten font.

I enjoyed this class and it was well organized. I noticed that the file size exported from the app. was 1667 x 2367, not 1167 x 2367. Perhaps that changed.

Meet Bryan a graphic designer who will teach you how to create a font from your handwriting in Procreate.
You will start by creating a poster. In this part of the lesson, you will design a 3D-looking type poster. You will trace a font that you prefer. Duplicate it to create depth and shadow to have a surreal 3D outcome.
This part will give you some ideas what are the types of fonts and some examples of them.
You will discover the open-source apps that will transform your handwriting into fonts, then go straight on creating your fonts.
You will upload your handwriting to be an official font.
In this final lesson, you will learn how to use the font you have just created.
